Dr. Chris was born and raised in Powell, Ohio. He earned his
Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise
at Virginia Tech, where he was a member of the Hokies’ Track and Field team. During his time at Virginia Tech, he became an ACC conference champion
and an NCAA All-American in the pole vault.
After graduating, he continued his training and served as a volunteer assistant coach for the VT pole vault squad. Competing at a high level, Dr. Chris learned the importance of exercise, conditioning, and preventative care in preparing the body for physical activity. He credits chiropractic wellness care —provided by his neighborhood chiropractor during his youth and his team chiropractor at Virginia Tech—for keeping him primed for competition. This experience inspired him to pursue his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic-FL in Port Orange, Florida.
Dr. Chris is dedicated to educating his patients on the importance of movement, exercise, and regular maintenance care
to prevent injuries and manage pain. In his free time, he enjoys cooking (especially homemade pizza), golfing, and staying up to date on the latest research in conservative management of musculoskeletal conditions.
